Winter is approaching more quickly than we’d like to admit, and while it may not be immediately obvious, many adults and children in our community will soon face the cold without adequate warm clothing. These could be families living right in our neighborhood, children attending local schools, or even folks who call Mount Calvary home.
We have an opportunity to respond with Christ’s love in a very practical and meaningful way by donating new or gently used coats, hats, mittens, boots, and other winter gear. Every single item can make a real difference for a neighbor who might otherwise go without warmth this winter.
Donations can be dropped off in the Mount Calvary atrium through October 27th. Together, we can reflect Jesus’s love in action and ensure our neighbors feel some warmth before the snow begins to fall!
