We invite you to join us on March 5 at 7pm for a presentation offering a Palestinian perspective about the situation in Palestine. Mariam El-Khatib* will begin by giving historical background necessary to understand the current reality on the ground. She will go over what life is like for millions of Palestinians living under Israeli occupation. This will be followed by a review of the situation in Gaza before and after October 7, and the US role in these events.
* Mariam El-Khatib is a Palestinian-American who was born and raised in Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Neuroscience, and is a Product Manager at LaunchGood — a tech company focused on building platforms to connect the Global Muslim community.
