LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY NIGERIA
This year donations to our Nigerian Giving Tree will go to support the Minneapolis Area Synod’s funds drive for financial backing for the new Lutheran University Nigeria. A number of years ago, MCLC was a major contributor of funding for a medical clinic in northeastern Nigeria. The clinic is now thriving and has donated land adjacent to their property on which to build a new Lutheran University for Nigerian students. The synod is seeking $500,000 in congregational donations to ensure the stability of this endeavor. Click here for more information on this important project.
