ABOUT ICA
ICA distributes emergency food and schedules clients for food appointments. The mobile food shelf serves seniors in the community, where groceries are delivered to several low-income apartment buildings each month and provides home delivery to clients who are unable to visit the food shelf.
ICA offers food to area schools through relationships with Hopkins and Minnetonka schools. School teachers and social workers also use ICA’s Snack Bins to supply healthy snacks for students who are missing meals.
ICA’s case managers work directly with clients, providing referrals to other resources, and offering financial assistance for homelessness prevention. ICA’s employment specialist helps clients with skills and tools required to obtain employment.
