| The Mission of Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is to express the love of Christ for all people through service that inspires hope, changes lives, and builds community. Metro Homeless Youth Services is a part of LSS that serves young people in the metro area who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of homelessness. MHYS offers services to youth that include: outreach, shelter, transitional living, and support for young families. LSS was started in 1865, however the work of Metro Homeless Youth Services dates back to 1980 with the start of outreach to young people in the metro area. |
